Earth Tribe Champions for Nature challenge

Earth Tribe – Champions for Nature

Join the Earth Tribe and take action together for our planet through the Champions for Nature programme. You’ll reflect on your own impact on nature and the environment, learn about the nature at Ada’s Hoeve, and come up with actions that make a positive difference. With a special badge you can show that you’re part of the Earth Tribe.

The Earth Tribe unites young people in a worldwide community to become champions for the conservation and protection of our planet. Saving the planet together — one challenge at a time. You choose your own path, with exciting challenges that bring positive change to your community. One of these challenges is the Champions for Nature programme.

You can run this programme in two or three sessions during your camp at Gilwell Ada’s Hoeve. It consists of three parts:

  • Awareness: discover your ecological footprint and talk together about key environmental issues.
  • Connection: get to know the nature at Ada’s Hoeve better and connect with it by doing one of our SCENES activities.
  • Action: come up with solutions and actions that are positive for nature and the environment, and present this action plan to Ada’s Hoeve. You can then take the plan home to your Scout group, and of course you can already start some actions during camp.

With a special badge you can show that you are part of the Earth Tribe. The badge will (soon) be available in our shop.
